Pensées

This serie of posters was inspired by the eponym book of B. Pascal : Pensées. This work presents a flow of idea, of thoughts, reflexions and was a great opportunity for me to explore a little bit more my artistic side.

Neutrality - °1

This project was the perfect time for deeper work on composition and grid systems. It was also a great opportunity to push a little bit further my understanding of typography.

This piece was the first iteration of Pensées and led to a necessity to work more on details.

Truth - °2

In this series, especially this piece, I tried to improve my understanding of detail work while keeping a balance between white space and used space.

This serie was heavily influenced by an artist called Owhallie on Instagram. His work is, to my eyes, a great example of modern composition.

Liberty - °3

As said before Pensées was a greate opportunity for me to push my self further using previously learned knowledge. But it was also a time for me to express a little bit more of my artistic side, as I did with Les filles des rues of which this serie is probably the child.

Liberty, in a way, concludes this adventure around my thoughts as my jewel, a piece I still really enjoy looking out wondering where the boundary lies.

Pushing the concept further...

These three posters were a test to develop storytelling throught multiple pieces by establishing stonger codes to bond the compositions as a single piece.
